Carl, Thanks very much. It's working as it should. I had run just TXD, RXD & Signal Ground as used by the Omni VI and completely overlooked handshaking. So, I added 2 wires to the cable and turned on

Got mine on Christmas Eve. Once the comm was set up and N1MM was working, all I did was plug in a TT 712 interface cable and go to the digital screen on N1MM. MMTTY came up and worked fine. Of course

Bob, By all means grab one of the 715's. I ran 2 OMNI VI+'s barefoot into a 160M dipole at about 60 ft. Seldom used SSB, but when I did, I got walked over. TenTec had a reduced price on a demo unit (

If you do any CW, you'll want the 500Hz & 300 Hz filters. They work well on digital, also unless you want a waterfall with wider bandpass. I'm not a great fan of internal tuners. The used VII I found
