- Mike, The G4PKT DET MOD is not recommended by TEN-TEC. Try adding a .01 ceramic cap across C-3 on the Low Level Driver / Noise Blanker Bd to help stop the QSK pop. You may also need to change Q-13 on

- Dale KG5U You can stop that squeak by putting a little lube on the felt drag pads on the backside of the main tuning knob. You have to remove the black rubber ring to get to the .062 hex set screw. J
