This is partly a "Left Coast" problem. On this coast, we work mostly JA's, and many JA's QSL every contact. They seem to have awards based on shear volume of QSL's. CT assumes that no one needs a QSL

The CT manual says to limit BIN file names to six characters because CT may need to add two characters to the base name. I don't think I have ever encountered this. When does it happen? -Bob, N6EK --

I use a TS-50 successfully with Version 8 telling CT that it is a TS850. CT does not notice if I change bands on the TS-50, but I can change bands via CT and keep everything in synch. -Bob, N6EK --
