Wait a minute--I think you need to stay within a 300m circle (or whatever it is in the rules) to send in one SO log. I don't see anything wrong with being a rover that only roved in one grid. If you

For those of you how are a little shakey on the code, don't hesitate to call a station that is sending much faster than you. Any good op will slow down to match your speed. If not, all you have to do

I think many "900 MHz" cordless phones transmit from handset to base on 900MHz, and base to handset on 49 MHz or vice versa. Saves the cost of having to build two duplexers into the system. FWIW....

Lee, I'm not sure why adding your grid would make any difference. Don't most folks mention their grid when calling CQ? It tells me which way the turn the antenna when that weak CQ is coming in off t

I've always been a big believer in X-mode QSOs in the contest. I would venture to say nearly half of my mults on 2m the last time I was on in June were x-mode, at least to initiate the QSO. I've foun

I understand where you are coming from, but I think that the rule isn't necessarily the evil that it appears. Is it fair that all 25 people at the K0SM multi-multi built little 24GHz Gunn diode trans

Tom, Have a look at RoverLog by N1MU: http://roverlog.2ub.org/ It is a logging program for contests, but it will do exactly what you want. We used this at W2FU with WSJT running at the same time. Bas
