Lots of folks fretting about 10 watts less than the rated 100 watts!! At the receiving end of things, this much power drop makes about 0.2 db difference! What's the big deal? Clean your coax connecti

I need the 9 MHz IF and 6.3 MHz IF, 1.8 KHz filters for the Omni V. TenTec gets $87 for them. What do you want for yours? gfbike@millcomm.com -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/tentecfaq.htm Su

It would be quite simple to build either a passive or active audio passband filter which could make the more commonly available stereo phones applicable. Just center the audio filter around your favo

I found that the ground on the "S" meter lamps were not very good. I took a BIG Weller soldering iron and soldered the bulb socket to the support bracket and that fixed the problem for good. I hope

Nice to have the new CW filter from TT. Now if TT would just make a 1.8 KHz SSB filter that was USEFUL for SSB in the 9 MHz IF, I'd REALLY be happy. The one I have now, as I have said, is really awfu

Thanks for the tip. I will look into that. The radio seems to work fine in every other way so I was hesitant to tweak the BFO. I have used 1.8 KHz filters for decades in my TR7 and R7 and I have used

Mine sounds like ALL of the low frequency response is lost in SSB. I would have hoped that the 1.8 would be centered at the same point as is the 2.4, therefor reducing the highs a little and the lows

I would definetly be interested in a 10 (or more) pole SSB filter to put into the first IF of the TT Omni series. This is the point where selectivity does the most good anyway. Ideally, the filter sh
