I figured out the life of a vacuum relay (RJ1, HC1, GH1, all rated for 2 million cycles) in QSK contesting in CQing and also S&P. When running (holding a freq and calling CQ) you get about 20,000 QSO

Production 8410 amps have the screen voltage set to 225v. Some very early production amps were set to 200. The tube operating bias is then adjusted for 200ma idle Ip and an 8410 can easily get 1500+

The fans used at Alpha are the 71 CFM, either the 115 or 230 version. The 110 CFM was used on commercial versions of some Alpha amps. They should blow air INTO the amp so the air flow is "in series"
