Hi John, I had terrible luck with a wired linksys router. I had so many birdies I could not count them. I ended up with a Netgear FVS318, I think it is much better and it is in a metal enclosure. I d

Not a bad cable, a bad router. The cable is acting like a long wire antenna because the router has lousy common mode isolation on the output that the cable is connected to. The simple ferrite chokes

-- Other Cables worked fine. Switched all cables to different ports and the offending cable continued no matter which port it was on and it transferred data just fine. I hooked it up a couple of days
