I have had a Force 12, 5BA in the air for the last 4 1/2 years. I have never had a single problem with snow or ice. I live in New Hampshire and we get a lot of Ice in the early winter and late winter

Steve, It is obvious that you have never touched a Universal 30 inch base. The base is all steel and all you have to do is mount the first section on the base and stand it up in the hole level it off

Jim, You forgot to mention that you took out the Alpha Delta switch with your Henry 8K amplifier. There are not to many switches that are built for amateur service that can handle the 3CX3000A7 tube
