Huh, fixed it, well it fixed itself! Measured about 5 volts (4.3v) grounding it causes fsk so I guess I'm in business. Possibly just a bad or shorted connection somewhere I suppose. QRV Martin, HS0ZE

So far I'm liking the latest 565 release but another observation, other than the one I noted earlier about the strange behaviour with the PBT and BW displays not updating properly, is where the sweep

Hi, Yes did the master resets and RAM clear as specified and have done both again several times since. Rather than try to explain it further I have made a short video and posted it on You Tube. You c

Art, That's interesting, 15 times, Wow! Maybe I should hire somebody as a radio resetter! Ok if this has been seen before and cleared after multiple multiple resets I guess I'll have to keep trying.

Eric, The AUX I/O connector has independent outputs for main and sub receiver. These are at a fairly low level but will drive a typical stereo amplifier that can be used to feed separate speakers for

I find the use of RF gain as an audio level control rather counter intuitive, but workable however it renders the Orion as a radio with essentially no S meter and ties up the multi knob that is used

Since we now have selectable notch or peak (SAF), selectable AF/RF gain doesn't sound impossible (hi hi!). With the S meter I think some of it is the change from AF to RF derived AGC (or the other wa

I must admit, I do that too, mostly on phone. On CW I tend to use BW more with the pbt pretty much fixed. I spend more time on CW these days as well so that also drives my wish list a little I guess.
