All, I am new to the list and also new to the Corsair II I recently purchased. I have seen some U10 problems recently. If U10 truly fails, what are the options for repair? I have been told Ten Tec no

Barry, The reason I purchased the Corsair was to get rid of a DDS. I would not want to ruin a perfectly good receiver by adding more digital noise/spurs to it. I have other rigs which have a DDS in t

Bob, The AADE display will not work without modifications. The problem comes the way Ten Tec did the HFO/PTO mixing scheme. On some bands the 9MHz IF frequency is subtracted from the HFO/PTO mix to g

Stuart, My Corsair II does not have a U10 problem. However, I expect it will someday. Therefore I am doing a "preemptive strike" and developing the replacement now. I have seen a lot of Corsairs (bot

Stuart, I have been gathering parts that are used by the Corsair. It uses several 2N3866 as amplifiers in the receiver. It also uses a lot of MPS3693 and MPS6514 transistors. I have purchased a bunch

John, I am not sure. You will need to look at the schematic and try to determine Ten Tecs mixing scheme. See if they use high side injection or low side injection or both. The both is a killer unless
