do you folks who use the switching power supplies have problems with your radios? i have been using 35 amp Astron (RS 35A) because the RS 20A would not supply enuf power for the Orion running at 100

one can use a serial to USB adapter just fine for the Orion. no serial port needed in my experience to read the rig or key the rig. i use a serial to USB cable for either or both opertions. software

to connect your Orion to your computer, either you need to have a serial port or a USB to serial adapter. my Orions work well with either arrangement in Windows. Ubuntu 9.10 does not know what a USB
