This is probably unrelated but maybe not. I get a strange error message when I try to start various programs, and they won't run on this PC. One is Quicken. I get the same Application Error message:

Using configuration #4 and noticing the CW LED is lit instead of PTT when transmitting RTTY, I plugged the PTT plug from the accessory jack of the PROIII into the CW jack on the PRO, and it works OK
