Yes I am I am talking dipoles here..The dipoles have single wire capacity hats at either end, which is the most efficient way of loading them. The bottom capacity hat wire is 10ft over ground, and th

Hi Paul... I originally fed at the centre of the vertical wire, but as I said on the web page, I moved the feed point because it's mechanically much simpler to feed at the bottom. The feed impedance

Yes.. You can feed all together, but it's not the best approach. Single feeds and choke baluns at each feed point is the way to go. If you parallel feed the lot, it'll screw up the pattern...'special

A friend of mine GW3UZS has a simple solution. The three attachment points for his Delta loop are ceramic insulators. The Delta Loop has the horizontal wire on top, and the point down. The antenna wi

Hi Martin.. I paint mine with resin. You can add colouring to the resin. Sky blue, or light grey seems to merge into the background fairly well. I'd wait until the spreaders get a little "furry" with

I run a pair of 1/4 spaced verticals East/West, using the simple 84 deg feed lines, and a 71 deg phasing line, from ON4UN's fourth edition, page 11-9. It works very well for me, and is easy to build.

I've built a few LFAs for 6m, 4m and 2m. They all came in right on the nose, and outperform anything I had before. They're extremely quiet on receive, with a very clean pattern. Good luck es vy 73 Jo

Hi Gary. I wrapped one vertically for 40m around the spreaders of my Quad a few years ago. It worked fine.  I also have a 20-10m G3TXQ version built on an old rotary clothesline. I chopped off most o
