I have a Ten Tec Model 963 switching power supply in the shack. I use it for powering a 2 meter rig, the dummy load, and some small receivers and accessories. I use an Astron RS 35M for the Omni VII.

Oh... I dunno... I suppose if the used one offered in a private sale without TT warranty was in substantially better condition, with, say, substantially "lower mileage" and way better cosmetics, etc.

Can one use a TT 320D receiver with an Omni VII and get the panadapter function? Or will we be left with the original standard N4PY band scope feature ? - ( which I thought was cool enough on its own

They are probably less comfortable than some, better than most.... ;-) The Yamaha and Koss headphones are pretty comfortable for the under $50 price tag. It kinda depends on how long you wanna operat
