A T2X should be fine and more than adequate. I've had one on a KT34XA plus 402CD for 3 or 4 years now with no problems at all...other than the usual problem with a sticky brake everyonce in a while.

You can put SS sheet metal screws through all the joints except those for the cap tubes. I recommend getting new straps from KLM>..the new ones are a bit thicker and bent to leave more room for tight
