Perhaps it would help to get an idea what other rovers are doing as far as contacts with other rovers. In June, I made 251 QSOs. Of those, 13 were with other rovers. This was as a Limited Rover. That

The obvious reason this isn't a concern for fixed stations is because they could only do it once in a contest. With a rover, you can do it every time you cross into a new grid. Steve ________________

I just got an e-mail from a guy who is part of the grid dance crew. He told me that N6TEB is not, nor has ever been part of their group. I'm a little skeptical of this claim due to the soapbox of N6N

This is perhaps the best summary I have seen to describe what I see as the problem. I commend the VUAC for making an attempt to clean it up and I don't think there's any need to criticize their effor

A sked is not team operation. SOLP stations can't even use APRS information, let alone send out captive rovers. Skeds are totally different than what we're talking about here. _______________________

If you believe that is the logic, then you haven't been listening. Use of APRS data is not allowed for non-assisted stations. Why? Self spotting is not allowed. Why? Use of repeaters is not allowed.
