My friend N6DE is correct; something is broken regarding packet spotting in 6.75, and waiting a little (or a LOT) longer doesn't fix it. Scenario: 1. Tuning band. Select a DX spot from the band map.

And there's your problem. The FT-1000MP uses a non-standard configuration. It is straight through, not crossed: Pin 2 goes to Pin 2, 3 to 3, and 5 to 5. And it's F to F, not the more typical "modem"
