I have beenusing a FT-840 since I got my General ticket in June 2005 and I had to do it all over again I would have saved up few more pennies and bought the IC-718. The FT-840 has no options for SSB

Was thinking instead of buying a external DSP device why not add a second soundcard to my present computer and just run MMDSP and feed the audio thru it then into the main soundcard for RTTY operatio
