Don't think you missed anything Dave. Sounds like the old Triton IV analog readout. I think the 544 was the digital readout if I remember right. I had both, but that's been a few years ago...hi 73 -

Jim, a report from a friend of mine was that he could not make it up close enough to see the Orion, but he did reach thru and grab a spec sheet. So, sounds like the radio is there, just hard to see!

I aggree Dale. Personally, I'm not "Swr Phobic" as some folks think a radio will die if it doesn't see 50 ohms. I had forgetten that Ten Tec rigs don't have that big power fold back like the JA rigs

MMTY is a RTTY only program. It does work using FSK. I don't know all the details, but just a quick glance at MMTY just now, there are several places under "Options", then "Setup MMTY" that show FSK
