Hi again I just reread the QST review article. I now note that they cited plate idle current when the amp was in OPERATE but not keyed. My amp shows idle current while in STANDBY. Does that lead to a

The idle current does NOT change between standby and operate.  It is over 100 mils (just under the "second line" on the meter or almost 2/3rds of .2 amps.) Doug KR2Q _________________________________
