My thanks to Ron. I really wanted the ExchangeRadios function but was hoping not to encounter bleeding edge problems. Zippo trouble. Only thing noticed was I thought I could get away w/ MSDOS until m

Well, see I made a mistake opening multiple threads in one message ! -- On the Initial Cursor, my mistake was using a space between the # and prec that were hand entered. In the heat of battle this w

Well, I also love DOS but why not just exploit the MS DOS V7 built into Win95/Win98 ? Also DOS V7 supports FAT32, 622 does not. (Crank up your favorite search engine and look for MSDOS.SYS EDIT). The

Could someone using an MP on CAT confirm for me that running the commands NEXTBANDMAP or LASTCQFREQ causes to RX clarifier to turn off ??? To duplicate you would need to bring up TR, ALT-P. C, &. ass

Tks to K8JP and ZS4TX for confirming the commands seem to turn the clarifier off. This is a problem because so many stations call off freq and the purpose of exploiting the commands was to try to acc

Trying this new command I have problems. Sometimes I do not go to the next entry. It seems to go to every bandmap entry, whether a new mult or not ? NEXTBANDMAP seems ok. 73, Howie -- Howard Hoyt N4A

Never have been able to make this work right on my MP's. The problem is that in RUN MODE shift still does a QSY. This leads to landing on someone elses frequency during runs ! A nice feature, any way

This was a real hassle. I would setup a Q on the second radio, go to CQ and wipe out the entry. Since I rarely come across a second radio station that is ready for a qso, this was a problem since I w

Well, perhaps just the way I am looking at it, but it seems like the documented setup for SO2R is not logical. Why would the SO2R want to do an ALT-D everytime he hears a new station on the S&P radio

This may already have been mentioned ? ALT-D contents do not seem to always hold. If I make a qso on the run radio, the ALT-D buffer contents sometime disapear on either 6.76 or 6.79 73, N4AF _______

Thanks for the update Mark. Is the following also a known problem ? Using 6.79 the bandmap stays with the run rig. Perhaps for this reason, ALT-D buffer does NOT load as the S&P rig tunes across call
