Ok All... Got the units working Both the G-800SDX and G-1000 SDX seem to work fine with only Pins 1 thru 5 connected Very strange why Yaesu would have a 6 and a 7 pin connector with unused pins ! 73,

John, I just pulled my connector off back of G-800SDX control box Pin Wire Color 1 - Blue 2 - Grey 3 - Black 4 - Brown 5 - Green 6 - No connection Pins 1 thu 3 use smaller gauge wire ( 20 or 22 AWG )
