Jim, I currently have four Alfa Spids in use here. The shortest cable run is 400 feet, the longest almost 600 feet. Four wire control helps cut rotor cable costs. I?ve never had issues with the pulse

I try really hard to either pull everything I might need and fill the conduit to reasonable capacity on the first pull, or to pull several smaller conduits so I have spare conduits :) _______________

While you're replacing inferior parts, consider addressing the plastic element and boom caps.  My last HyGain antenna came with blue and orange caps.  The sun ate them up in two years up here in Mich
