the RFC is Installed I will try to measure the resonans again. For 27 MHZ i did the measurement 3 times. A grid dip meter is not the most accurate instrument, so i will try it again. but how close is

Hi Vic I did measurements when the RFC was installed in the amplifier. What do you mean by "shorted" ? Also I operated the amplifyer today. on 28.400 MHz the Plate current and output is normal compar

Hi Doug The RFC i ordered from RF parts should be excat the same RFC used in my ameritron amplifier. Pysical dimentions and layout of turns of the new coil also matches the old one. I actually ordere

Hi I re-measured the RFC resonanse of my ameritron amp (I replaced the RFC after a previous burnout on 30 meter). For the new measurement i shortcircuited the choke, while normally mounted in the amp
