I don't see the point, but you'd be within the rules. :-) Since you can only operate "from" a single grid, then as long as you move at least 100 m and never stray from your 500-m circle, you'd be OK.

Commander is part of the DXLab Suite of programs. It would handle the display offset as Icom apparently doesn't see the need for that (did they on the S-band downconverter available for the IC910H?).
