Try loosening and retightening the meter termal nuts. They bind the meter terminals to the printed circuit board. These have a habit of becoming tarnished and opening the meter connection. -- 73, Roy

Disregard my previous message. If the meter moves at all it won't be the meter terminal problem. You may have a bad (open) rotor pot or intermittent cable lead, and it may only make connection at ful
