Not to mention switching power supplies. Blocking the currents that travel on the outside of your coax, from getting to your antenna and back into the coax, can save you from a lot of RFI trouble. Co

Hello, I am considering building a remote ladder line switch using W199X-12 relays, which are open frame DPDT with 1600V breakdown voltage between open contacts, 2200V between poles and coil/contact.

I have no experience with them, but I am considering them. For 80m, it may be feasible to build a set of four double L antennas (with the "tails" towards the middle). Everything I have read suggests

The thing about resistive common mode chokes is, the higher their impedance, the lower the amount of power lost. Put a choke with over 1000 ohms of impedance into an antenna system with 35 ohm impeda

It is not just a question of "where does it go?", but also "where does it come from?" The current on the outside of the coax happens because that is one of the many paths the antenna current can take
