Just installed a Herc II with my Kachina 505DSP. It appears that I have rf floating all over the place. When I ket the 505 with out the herc in line, the led's on the herc light up as I transmitt. I

I've noticed that I need to keep my Herc on in order to increase my received signal on my xceiver. Is it a requirment to keep the amp on so the antenna will passed through to the rig? -- 73, Richard

Anyone know how "automatic" this tuner was, is? Does it automatically re-tune or does one need to tune it and let the rig pick its memory? I'd like to find a used one for my station. I currently have
