The TV has to be on.likely the swtching pwr supply--although igniting that plasma results in the noise being transmitted thru the screen.taking off the antenna eliminates the noise... _______________

Actually, the Omni V Manual indicates a 100 ohm and a 10 k ohm value. When I went to replace I found the 100 and a 1 k ohm (not 10k as per schematic)... As to audio, I am not too bent out of shape...
