I'm getting lower than expected output from a sb200 (abt 300w with 100w drive). Tubes are 6-7, maybe 8 years old. Can someone point me to a reference that has some steps that i can take to determine

A few have asked me so here are some more details: GRID: 0 @ rest, ~60 @ tx 40m PLATE: 0 @ rest, ~285 @ tx 40m HV: 2200 @ rest, 1850 @ tx 40m On all bands, Grid and Plate are zero at rest. Not sure i

Thanks to all those who have replied direct and also privately. I did find a resistor on the anode clip had one lead snapped. I am not sure whether it was like that or if it happened while i was remo

Thanks to all who gave me some tips regarding my sb200. I got my hands a a fresh pair of 572b's and now the Pout is up from 300+ to about 650w out on all but 10m. 10 is still around 450-500w if i rem
