Hi John, Could you provide more specifics for antenna and L tuner? I'd like to do the same on 40m with my Argosy. I love the idea of using a carpenters chalk line reel. It even has a crank up handle!

The phones come with a 1/4" -1/8" stereo adapter so I couldn't use that (unless I just wanted to hear in one ear) so I got a 1/8" Stereo to 1/8" stereo to 1/4" adapter and also picked up a Koss volum

Yep....duh...it was the mike. Never would have suspected that it had a 9V battery in it! But then again, what do I know? ;-) The battery read 7.2V. The mike cord was extremely brittle and needed work
