Rick, Does it occur after you press the "TUNE" button in SSB mode? On mine that's when the keying loop stays on. This doesn't happen in CW. When it occurs mine can be reset by cycling the radio power

I have an Orion and am using V2 of the firmware. I will have to say I really love the radio and enjoy using it very much. I would gladly pay for firmware updates but I don't know how Ten-Tec would do
