I do the same thing, and see the same delay (it's been there for quite a while, don't remember what version it started at). I'm using a 266Mhz MMX and W95 booted in DOS mode. I don't think it's a fu

Regarding TR and laptops: On my laptop (Gateway Solo 5100) in order to get the LPT interface to work with TR I had to set the BIOS mode for the printer port to "standard bi-directional". It's usually

I'm also an Omni6 user...no, the Omni6 rs232 interface has no provision to set the PTT delay, and I don't think it can switch the radio into transmit. It is worth the effort to hook up the extra PTT

As a non-user of packet while contesting, I have other opinions... I don't want more prompts when I do alt-X...I just want to exit! I guess it would be ok as long as it could be removed with an optio

I still don`t own anything faster than a 286 (my PS-2 286 is now 7 years old!) Response time is fine for any contest with less than about 700-1000 q's. I do remember last year during SS that it was g
