That's a Henry RF Generator model, usually configured for one of the ISM frequencies. 3x3 tube in the ones I've seen.. Some modification is required to make it usable in amateur service. ____________

Just in case someone has come across this particular issue and maybe save me from reinventing the fix for the wheel.... 87a with AlphaMax, has been running fine for years with Icom 7800 as the driver

Many thanks for the tip, most appreciate it... however I opened the shield cover as suggested - the black foam was there but looked pristine, but I removed it anyway. No signs of any arcing at all. P

Jerry, thanks a bunch. That's spot on as Glenn also suggested that. I appreciate your input. GPIO shows 0 .01 5 109 with approx 100 watts in so I'd assume the input fwd wattmeter diode is the fault.

D1 was leaky, others ok. It's not quite the same but popped a 1N34a in and amp is fine. With amp bypassed in and out powers were within 5 %. GPIO showed 64 .79 47 1417 on 10m so I'm happy with that.
