An item I lost when I updated Outlook Express was a very detailed explanation of how to load the KT 34A boom so as to act as a dipole on 40 and 30. Anybody have that memo or can tell me how to do it?

I have always been a bit confused about antenna tuners. I contend that it is a box inserted into a feedline to fool the transmitter or amplifier into think it is feeding power into a "perfect" load.
