They are self clinching nuts (P.E.M. brand name). They are pretty easy to install in the SB-220 to take care of the stripped sheet metal screw problem. I have installed them in several 220's. Availab

Not any more - the AL1200 and AL1500 are $2899 or more at all the major radio stores (Texas Towers, HRO, AES, etc). The best bang for the buck is probably the AL-80B. Bob W6VY Your right no one pays

But the street price of an AL-82 is only $2460 shipped, it has a more robust transformer and parts are readily available.  But it is the buyer's money - guess he can spend it as he likes. Cheers, Bob

I have a pair of Johnson 275 sockets - new old stock and three Johnson 124-0311-100 sockets for 8874, 3cx8300A7's, etc - also new old stock.  Anyone interested before I put them on ebay. Thanks Bob
