I'll suggest a different point of view. Go for electrically lengthing it to 5/8 w. You may be closer to 5/8 w than to 1/2w. Ground a few of those parasitic elements and you may already be there. Time

It was asked if you measure the voltage at any point on the coil, how do you know the current? I assume the power is constant at any point on the coil so if you calculate the voltage, guess what? You
