Just to add to the problem. This happens on a very calm day, and it happens only when the 2M rig transmits. I'll give the isolated ground a try, may even have one of those adapters around. 73 - Ted -

Well so far I've had time to try the following suggestions and ideas: 1. Turn off the 2 meter rig. Did this and the problem went away, but of course so did my packet connection <BG> 2. Ground to case
