Also try "tapping" on any relays in the RF receive chain. You may find, as I did, some poor soldering on the pins. In my case, the offending relay(s) were on the sub RX board. Paul WB2ABD ___________

My circumstance with this problem was taking the cover off would "cure" the problem for a while. Eventually it was tracked down to the relays in the eft rear corner of the rig - bad solder joints. Ta
