- Hi gang, I've got a half dozen 4-400A's that I would like to test. Is it possible to run these in a SB-220 without many mods? Or should I wait til July 4 and just drop 'em in and see what happens? Tn

- To use 4-400As in a SB-220, put a 2 to10 ohm 2w resistor between pin 3 and pin 4 (grid-screen). Short the zener bias diode with a jumper. The ZSAC will be a bit low for SSB, but they will work ok. 4
