I have a 4CX1000A with socket. It has never been in service. I've had it for about 18 years or so. I want to find a plan for a single band 160M amp using this tube, or would consider selling it. I ne

Hi Chaps, I recently completed my 50MHz 4CX1000A amplifier. However the Eimac pull I have had for a while suffers from excessive secondary emission. The question. I have recently obtained a NOS 4CX10

Are you familiar with Tetrode tuning? At what level of screen current do you start getting secondary emission? I've not heard of any problems with GE constructed 4CX1000A's. GE has built a lot of hig

This not only makes the regulated supply much more simple as the supply always sees a positive load. The value of the resistor should be of such that the supply always sees a normal load that never g
