- For our business I just tried to buy a watt meter from RF Applications. We wanted their VFD watt meter. They have a three week or better waiting time. Their dealers have no stock. I don't understand

- Yes I have a recommendation for a true peak-reading meter. The Yaesu YS-60. It reads both peak and average selectable. It requires 13.8 vdc input as it has 2 IC's and 6 transistors. Both AES and HRO

- Yes, go ahead and just wait for the VFD!! I have both Bird 43 and the VFD. You really want the VFD; why? For rapid tune up, real time actually PEP output, and real time vswr. Don't know the QRO unit

- Jim, I'd wait. The VFD is definitely worth it. It's simply wonderful to be able to tune your amp with a string of dots, have the wattmeter follow it, and all with the ergonomic ease of the led bar gr
