I'm wondering what RCA manual that is referenced in. I have an ET-4336F that was built for the Royal Navy back in 1944 by RCA that uses two RCA 813's mounted horizontally. So for shock, I still think

The tube must be properly orientated - I don't recall off hand what that is but it's out there in the literature. Could this mean "the final operating position in regard to the way it was to be used
