If the arc is really *inside* the tube, I'd toss it in the trash to start with. You can test the HV while waiting for the new tube to arrive... -Tony, K1KP ___________________________________________

Hello Tony, Yes the arc is inside the tube.... as grid current increases with an increase in RF the tube start to glow red and then suddenly blue arcs start to flash quite symmetrically right at the
