- I've never opened up a Bird meter. Does it (like some meters do) have an adjustable magnetic shunt that you can adjust by loosening a screw and moving a piece of material attached to the magent? 73 P

- To all: I agree the Bird wattmeter is the "standard" that most swear (at?) by. Also, Array solutions is a very good instrument but Imo, not really to suitable for everyday field use. Big question is:

- Gary, You listened to the hyperbole of the salesman who said 10%. The Bird is +-5%. That means with a 100 watt slug at full scale it is 95-105 watts, not 90 to 110. Quit listening to salesmen. :-) 7
