- A little vacuum relay to take the HV isn't hard to do. A little 24V dcplug pack (wall wart) supply would be easy to cannibalise and fit inside the cabinet to operate the relay. (Ebay item 31074344631

- I meant to qualify my statement that using an inferior switch for the job is a bad idea as we can now see. I've changed switches in Clippertons that were arcing a few times before they broke down bad
