Hi again, Powered up the amp .. filaments light .. blower works .. timer circuits for HV and Blower work. Having trouble tuning it .. Vacuum caps for plate and loading. Have loading cap at minimum. E

Did you move the load cap? Put radio on cw, 50 watts out, send 20wpm dots and tune for max out using both caps. With cw dots you are "pulse" tuning at 30% duty. Reverse design it. Measure the coil an

BUT you can only see the real output power if you have a peak reading wattmeter. If you have one, your good. If you don't you cannot read the real power output of the amplifier. 73 Jim W7RY _________
