I've had AL82 plate tuning capacitor on order from Ameritron (MFJ) for almost six months Ameritron parts list shows as 190pf 4.5kV - C19 on schematic I suspect the 190pf is max capacitance 73 Robert

Could you possibly disassemble the cap assy and replace/repair only the damaged plates?? I just did this on a 9500, and that's what I plan on doing with the TL-922 if it ever goes.. More commonly it'

I picked up a TL-922 at a hamfest this weekend, and someone has removed one section of the rotor plates (the set closest to the front panel). Not sure why. That's why I need one. Thanks, 73, Jim W7RY

I did this on my TL-922. The loading cap arced after I very stupidly ran it with high SWR. I took the cap out -- it was impossible to do it in place -- and used a needle file, relay burnishing tool,
