Well, I was looking at the plate current meter when it happened but my impression was that it was around the top of the tube compartment, possibly arcing from the plates to the cabinet or thereabout
With the cover off it should be a 1 man show. If its arcing to the cabinet it will leave visible evidence. Dirt and/or nicotine can cause lots of arcing also. Carl KM1H _____________________________
