I see some HV power supples use a 25 ohm 25 watt Glitch resistor and others use a 50 ohm 50 watt, also I've seen a 25 ohm 50 watt ...What I found in my junk box is a 33 ohm 50 watt will this work for

What type of resistor is it? What is the resistor's construction? How much current does the supply normally supply? How much HV? You have to know all those things. 73 Tom ___________________________

Tom, Thanks for asking.. It's a glass-coated wirewound, should not use more then 1 amp and I have 2 taps, 3600 dc and 4200 dc . The power supply will be the EMF for a 8877 Thanks, HNY Ed N5BLZ ______
